When Napoleon Bonaparte retreated from Moscow, Tsar Alexander I signed a manifest on 25 December 1812 declaring his intention to build a cathedral in honor of Christ the Savior «to signify Our gratitude to Divine Providence for saving Russia from the doom that overshadowed Her» and as a memorial to the sacrifices of the Russian people. The Jesus Christ Chapel Ancora pen is similarly dedicated to Russia.

The influence for the Torre di Pisa pen collection is the Leaning Tower – a world famous landmark and unofficial symbol of the Italian city of Pisa. The pen body is made from the same Carrara marble as the tower itself and the lid reflects the 13th century architectural traditions of Italy.

Ancora masters created the pen «Vezuvio» dedicated to one of the most dangerous and mysterious volcanoes. Vesuvius is sad-known for its eruption in AD 79 that led to the burying and destruction of the Roman cities Pompeii and Herculaneum. The eruption ejected a cloud of stones, ashes and volcanic gases to a height of 33 km and over 1,000 were killed. The Vesuvio pen has been created by the Ancora Masters and uses fragments of the volcano’s lava.
